The Wild Wood Tarot keeps calling to me daily, so we will continue along our journey with another card from this beautiful deck.
Today’s card is from the Major Arcana and is The Seer. . .
She is a bridge between heaven and earth – a mediator of the highest degree. “The Seer acts as an oracular mediator of the feminine intuitive and imaginative principle, but her mediation is based on grounded energy and skill.” The hallmarks of today’s card indicate FOCUS and SKILL. This is a time to gather all of the inner knowledge we acquired through the stillness of winter (and majorly challenging astrological aspects) and apply it towards our practical day-to-day life. All of the ideas we have brewed up in our imagination about who we wish to be and what we want this planet to become need to be channeled into our hearts and acted upon with great tenacity and purpose. There is much healing in putting these idealizations into practical action. Even small action steps taken daily can lead us to where we wish to go. Have you been wanting to start your own edible garden right on your land? Perhaps planting a few seeds is a good place to start! Is it your soul’s desire to start expressing itself through creative channels and new forms of expression? Maybe it’s time to take that pottery class you’ve been dreaming about, get to crafting, and start-up an Etsy shop! Let’s all try something new and develop the practical skills necessary to put this energy into motion.
Sitting on our hands will not help us CREATE a NEW EARTH.
To hone such grounded skills takes much determination, diligence, and commitment. We must accept this life as a journey, in which we are constantly learning/evolving, and be willing to “mess up.” Trial and error is part of the experience, and isn’t it incredible how much we beat ourselves up over “imperfection?” Stalled in our progress and frozen in action just because we are scared to possibly fail somewhere in the elusive future. Two things have been proven about the things we fear most: 1) Usually they never happen; 2) When they do happen, we actually handle it alot better than we ever thought we could.
Let us tap into our brilliance and resilience!
As I write this to you, I write this to my Higher Self too. With so many external challenges during these chaotic and transformative times, it has been extra necessary for me to learn how to enter the inner abyss of bliss and peace. Breathing techniques are what has been helping me most! Focused, intentional, peaceful breathing. I realize it is the only thing we are truly able to control! And it greatly helps our ability to respond. If you are feeling frazzled, take a minute or two to breathe and connect with yourself. There is such simple healing in that. If the phone is ringing, your toddler is screaming, the poles are shifting, your chakras are fried – STOP – and breaaaaathe. It is so very helpful and it’s amazing to see how the external circumstances start improving in response to your more centered inner state. Taking a walk in nature to connect with the elements (and yourself!) is also very powerful. During these times of rapid change, it is necessary that we seek nourishment and stability through the earth and our breath. We can always count on those two miraculous and often-overlooked gifts to be there to help us.
More specific reading point from today’s card: “The time has come to focus your power and let it flow through you.”
Seeing yourself as a powerful influencer of this reality is Step #1. . .
