Fermentation Integration ~ Part 2

Creating your own ferments at home is a simple, affordable, and deeply satisfying way to bring cultured goodness into your body and into your life. Consuming just a bit of fermented food everyday is incredibly beneficial for health and healing. You will feel a big difference with your digestion too!  I enjoy having something fermented with each meal. For example, a glass of kombucha with breakfast, a tablespoon of sauerkraut with lunch, and some beer with dinner. There are so many fermented options to choose from, so incorporating them into your diet is easy!

The following is a great video by my friend Franky G. Frank Giglio is a classically trained chef and has a passion for constantly exploring new ingredients and methods of preparation. He has an abundance of information and some really wonderful personally created herb and spice blends. This video provides an explanation on how to create sauerkraut at home using cabbage and salt. You can get as creative with it as you want (add in extra seasonings such as onion, garlic, ginger, rosemary, etc.). I hope you enjoy this video! Cheers to your health!
